I now have a crappy little synopsis of Of Phantoms and Fays. I'll probably write a better one later. Ok synopsis is updated so it's slightly smoother and better.

Okay so... I had a really crazy idea that popped into my head.
Basically, it' back during Roman times. Now, to the Romans, the Rhein River was the furthest point of the Empire. Across those waters, in the thick German forests, lived fierce beasts and German barbarians who were almost as wicked as the creatures that live there.
There were several battles that took place on the other side of the Rhein, but the Romans always retreated back across.
My story is about another Roman push into the dark lands across the Rhein. Unfortunately for the Romans, their arrogance has awoken something that even the Germanic warriors fear...
Here's where I have two ideas.
First, and perhaps the one I like most, is about an alp. Alp means "elf" in german, but german elves were basically demons who fed off people's nightmares (and... breast milk... they really like breast milk.)
The other version is the same, this time using a draugr instead of an alp. Draugrs were undead norse warriors that protect the valuables in their burial mounds.
Either idea is interchangeable, though with significant plot differences. Basic idea is the same.

I'm between three ideas now.
1) Old superheroes who begin to reminisce about the past. Very shaky on this one.
2) This one comes from the last project I had been working on. Just need a deeper plot for it.
3) Is a continuation (and mending) of the prologue I had done for the writing assignment involving the immortals and such.

Hmm... see I like both. The Draugr will have really epic moments. I was thinking his mound would be vandalized by the Romans and he just appears out of nowhere to whip ass.
Did I mention draugrs eat human flesh? And that they are immensely strong and can't be harmed by weapons?
...
Oh and they sail on ships that are half sunken in the water.
The alp would have more interaction with other characters though. I already had a crazy scene play out in my head where he appears while a young woman is sleeping, glides out of her ceiling to sit on her waist, then proceeds to slither his long tongue up her nose and into her brain to feed on her nightmares and then strike her across the face to leave a mark so she knew when she woke up he had been there.

I'd say the reminiscing isn't very Silver in style. Also kind of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy like...
So go with one in one of your old worlds, I'd say.

America and Wolverine getting together to talk. I'm definitely leaning to the old project, though. If not that then the one about immortals.
