Was sure I was going to be able to finish this weekend ... that was until I came down with nasty cold  Glad I wrote everyday at least 2k words - way above targets. Means freak-colds like this do not stop me from "winning." November illnesses. Join the club. *sniffles and hands you a nerf gun* This is what we use for shooting the people who complain about our coughing. <Sees the nerf gun, and pulls out his own nerf gun and riot shield> Ha! So I've pulled Kaez and I'm going to write up a brief outline (2-3 lines per a chapter.)
And a new character has sprung up to join the mix. I was very aware that I had only one female character in the cast of a very male heavy conflict and then voila, this strong female half-fay pops up in the middle of London to serve in Colin's role as protector when he gets side-tracked.

This story only references a female character. I doubt there will be one it at all, unless the epilogue goes a certain way.

Yeah, with yours you can get away with that.
Mine is modern and if the story ends up going somewhere I don't want the criticism to be "Well this is typical chauvinistic literature", because I want them to be criticising the writing and the story not whether my characters has boobs.
