The World of The Elementalist

[The Counter Cultist(Sawyer)]

So this is pretty much a world that I made up while I had some writers block working on Absolution.

So the basic idea is a multi-dimensional/realm universe, it includes many worlds I created as well as Earth.

One Dimension is called the Plane of Eternity, and on it live a culture of human like immortals known as the Sir(name prone to change) that are able to control the elements

The following powers are in effect

Fire
Water(this includes ice)
Earth
Wind
Shadow
Light
Energy(Includes Lightning and Electricity)

The purpose of the Plane's very existance is to protect the other planes, specifically Earth, as it holds the focal point of the entire universe. The Elders of the Plane (their are seven, one for each element) have for centuries predicted the rise of a chosen one called the Elementalist. A powerful near ommniscient being that controls all the elements


In the equivilant of the Earth year 1600. A young girl is born, her parents both die under mysterious circumstances. The shadow Elder Arcanus Torval manages to find the screaming baby amongst her dead parents. Taking her back to the capital city of Demonia he gains permission to raise her and provide guidance.


Years later the girl now named Renera is a skilled Fire user. She still acts as Arcanus' assisstant and favorite pupil. However, little beknownst to her the elders believe she is the Elementalist.

While Arcanus and Renera herself do not believe it they now have bigger problems to worry about.

An old elder, Arcanus' predecessor Maleficus, has gained control of the Alrion, an ancient elemental focusing artifact that grants unlimited power. He intends to use this artifact to comepletly drain Earth of all it's power in order to rule the universe. Now Renera has no choice but to believe, she will have to train, travel, and battle Maleficus' forces of shadow.

For if she doesn't, it will mean the end of everything.


So...characters.


Renera Cinder
Losing her parents in an attack of some sort when she was only two months old, a few centuries later she is now the equivilant of an Earth teenager. She is also the one the elders prophecise to be the Elementalist. While she doesn't believe this herself. She however has no choice however. If she doesn't at least act against Maleficus the whole universe is doomed. She is a master user of the Fire Element.

Arcanus Torval
Arcanus is the most second most powerful user of the shadow element and third most powerful Sir in general. He is currently the youngest elder being only about a 15,000 years old(mid twenties.) His master of the shadow element is often the inspiration of all his students. He also has an uncanny fondness of humans. He also serves as Renera's mentor and guide on her quest.

Ordanus
The elder of light and the most powerful and oldest Sir in existance. Ordanus is a master of his element and very wise as a result of his age. He was also Maleficus' former mentor. He was the one hit hardest when Maleficus dissapeared. He was even more hurt when the former elders betrayal became known. However he is willing to defeat Maleficus for the sake of the universe.

Maleficus
A former elder and Arcanus' teacher, Maleficus is the most powerful shadow Sir, and the second most powerful Sir in existance. He was once noble and just. However he came to question the councils actions. Eventually he just dissapeared, leaving instructions that Arcanus be his replacement. Centuries later he returned, but with an army of Dark Creatures. He has become an insane Dark master obsessed with remaking the universe, using the power tapped within Earth to do it. If he succeeds the universe will fall apart.

Fire

A fire Sir is a dangerous thing, able to enchant their weapons to be surrounded by fire. They can conjure massive fireballs, cover the land around them in flames, create walls of fire to block off enemies. Master users are considered the ultimate weapon and saved for important battles. The basic fire using soldier is not a frontline soldier but more of a support unit, throwing fireballs and other things whilst supporting the frontline troops in melee or ranged combat.

Water

Water Sir are mystical by nature. One of the many abilities they have mastered includes healing. As such Water Seer are considered important tools. They can create mists on the battlefield to scare the enemy and can use flasks of water as weapons to defend themselves and heal their allies. Again they are more support. Master Water users when paired with master wind and energy Seer can create awesome destructive storms.

Shadow

Shadows are the ultimate spy and are rarley seen in a major battle. They are often used as saboteurs, assassins, and spies. Of their ability repetoire includes the ability to meld with any shadow no matter how large or small. Meaning they can tag along with an enemy soldier or officer undetected as long as he casts a shadow. They can also create a force of darkness at their feet and dissapear into it travleing below and enemies feet, they can then pop out for surprise attacks or drag them into the abyss with them. Due to a Water Sir's ability to create a mist they are often paired with them for missions. Master Shadow users are able to switch themselves into a raging Dark Form that gives them abilities similar to fire.


Earth

Earth Sir are nearly as devasating Fire Sir, for the very reason that they are able to turn their very skin into solid stone. They are also able to use the earth itself as a weapon, envelop themselves in a sphere of earth. They are also mostly built like rocks and are well muscled. They are used mostly as frontline soldiers. Master Eath Sir are literal power houses and they can create pure mayhem on a battlefield.
