Order, perfect order. Everything in it's proper place. No flaws within it. All the cogs spinning in time. Ah, the sounds of it, the beautiful melody of everything in proper working order. He looked up from his work to gaze upon his little pocket realm, though it stayed within the fair lands of AWR, he considered it his own place, away from all the hustle and bustle.
His mechanized garden, forest. The flowers were the bright hues of gem stones, with stems of emerald. The trees were mechanical, whose leaves were also made of the precious green stone. From it, tiny nuts and bolts hung for mechanical squirrels to devour and store.
A mechanical deer crossed through the meadow outside, bending its head to nibble at the emerald grass. He loved this place dearly, the rubbery material of his face stretching into a smile. It had been over a thousand years ago that he had removed the last of his flaws, and now he was perfect, for working in his shop at least.
His onyx eyes dropped to the silvery carapace that lay before him. His clockwork engineers were assembling the other pieces he had finished putting together. Only twenty more pieces... and he'd be done with, as he viewed it, his greatest creation...
Then he could bring the perfection he knew to the rest of the world. And they would accept it.

The Domain of Metal, a place where many travelers moved away from, had remained still for over two millennium, and now a rumble like an earthquake erupted from it. Shaking the ground for miles ahead. The border of the small realm was formed of the same stone as the wall surrounding the domain to protect it from the sea air.
A crack formed within the wall before shattering apart. Large mechanized warriors, spherical in shape, stomped forward. Great shield like chests glinting with the light of the sun. Smaller creatures like the large ones bouncing between the monstrous forms, packs upon their backs that hummed with electric power.
Other mechanized beings poured forth, great mechanical bulls and lions, wolves and bears. All walking in step behind the golems and Clockwork Engineers.
The procession halted, the last construct just outside of the walls, a force ten wide and two thousand deep, while the foremost stood in front of the river that divided the southern lands from the deserts to the north. But the ground didn't stop shaking. The ground on the other side of the river exploded as a massive creature burst from the earth. It's hide shone like a second sun, scything blades pulled it from beneath the ground as it twisted and slithered up.
Two hundred feet of sparkling steel dragged itself from the ground. The massive head, two huge pincers enclosing a mouth full of drill-like fangs bent down. A strangely human face regarding the amassed army before it, onyx eyes sparkling as joyous words spread through out the forest, though the steel mouth of the centipede and metallic face did not move.
"We move upon those who call the deserts and mountains their homes. We shall bring order to their chaos."
The massive form of silver twisted about and snaked across the ground, the scything blades withdrawing into the body to keep the monstrous golem closer to the ground. The dirt from it's entrance had splashed down to lay in the river, effectively fording it for his army to cross.
The army could march all day and night without pause, they could make the Tirari Stretch by nightfall, and spread through there, before crossing into the Desert of Twilight and then up into the Spine of Tera'methris all within a week.
