How do you imagine it pronounced? Since I'm thinking: Chee-Al-Chee-Sit-teck I replaced the ' s' with a k. Chee-al-chi-ki-tek. Ah, that's why. Yours would sound better with the vowel sounding at the end. Like "Chee-al-chi-ki-tek-uh" |

Decided to go with wings on the back for the Chial's. Ah cool. And yeah, I like the hard sounds in ancient names. I try to include at least one, if I want it to sound warlike , powerful or angry, unless it's meant to be a hiss. |

Zomg. I would never be able to pronounce that! Seriously, I have problems with shorter words and names. Think the long name is a turn off, even if it looks cool. Any ways. The race sounds very cool. I liked the age range, and the development process of the age range. I also liked the sound of the culture with both sexes being equal. I did want a little more on how they fight and any Gods/praise/worship  I did want more description on what they look like (artists pov) Do they have feathers all over? Do they have beaks? How would babies suckle if they have beaks? Do the hands look human or covered in bird scale-ly skin? So on and so forth. Build on that bit and you'd be fine. As for the arms - I think Jack was right. Arms separate from wings. Six different appendages. It makes more sense for a fighting culture. Imagining the Eagle wings would be very long - it would make holding or using some thing in hands very difficult and very awkward. Not majestic like they are supposed to be. It would also be a lot easier to draw >.> (if you want at some point I could try get a sketch and work with you on that ) A little more on architecture might also help you. What kind of houses do they live in? How has it changed through the years? Did they always float? Is it tall buildings with perches? Or short? Expand. [Edit: Language . . . Don't remember you taking about languages. Would they all speak the same? How would they talk? With out lips to form words - would it be a broken dialect? Could they talk telepathically instead? Food for thought. Hope I'm not over-loading you with ideas/questions.] |

It was just a rough outline for them ^^, I guess I do have some more to work on. But their deities and such will be listed under the RP world part next, I think they'll also have the largest of the pantheons.

I also addressed the part about the floating in the history for the other thread. Originally they lived in houses on the ground until the humans grew bold, then they built the first floating city which would the City of a Thousand songs.
I went with Jack's idea too, I'll probably do some drawings sometime, see if I can get ones right. Updating the rest now.
