So this is a little world I created called Syre, it has elements of mostly Arthurian legend in it.
Races are as follows.
Vampires
Home Continent: Avalon
Home Region: All around the continent
A bit of Background: Vampires are really Humans who have achieved a very dominant level of evolution, they can go out at the daylight but are nocturnal by nature. The humans were very feudal before the Golden Age. The Golden Age first began when their demi-goddess Arnera, brought back from a different dimension another human, by the name of Arthur, after healing him and drawing his blade from the ocean she said that he was to lead them. Arthur instantly drew them all together and began building new towns and villages, as well as a Castle close to the center of the continent, he named it Camelot. Then he married and fathered one Child.
After Arthur's death, his son Mackellan took the throne, upon his death bed Arthur used the magic he had been able to gain through Arnera to bestow a gift of immortality upon his subjects and all their descendants. As time went by, they evolved into Vampires, the Castle Camelot grew into a a city with a circumfence of over 25 miles, new large cities grew, including Arsonia, where the remaining unevolved humans lived.
Now the Vampires were not perfect, they had one flaw, after the death of King Razzler Asher, his nephew Saruntui rose up, Saruntui was downright evil, and while he talked of extermination of the lesser races the humans were able to abandon their home in the Arson Peninsula, and leave. Because of this Saruntui and his army of followers didnt get very far. After the battle Saruntui retreated into a set of mountains to the east. His spell over his troops broken the vampires apologized, gave restitution for the crimes and returned with the humans that had lived with them upon Avalon.
After Saruntui his brother took up position as reagent lord, until a new young king arrived, Adrian Valor, young Valor was a certified tactical genius, he had been Reagent Lord Astor's stuident for many years. With him the Vampires are guanteed a place of peace, and prosperity.
