due to the recent intrest in poetry I figured I share a few with you, though my posting is going to be erratic.


First

To Hell... a set of couplets loosely based on characters from the Devil May Cry series


To Hell the Demon Brothers Went,
To Hell the Demon Brothers were sent,

First was Dante, Strong and Valiant,
Then Vergil, Calm and Silent,

To Hell The Demon Brothers Go,
In Hell is where they face their foe,

His name is Mundus, for he is king,
King over Hell's most unholy ring,

In Hell is where the Demon Brothers must fight,
We all pray, as they ride off into the night.

I liked it I've always liked couplets. I particularly liked the repeated use of "To Hell ..." and the spacing.

However, I felt that it didn't finish. It kinda has an open ending. This may have been intended but it left me wanting more (Like I didn't get my moneys worth)

Really I'm making it a big series of couplet sets, this one was one of the first set of poems I did.


Really I'm pretty mediocre when It comes to poetry, I have to wrack my brains to find a rhyme scheme, right now I'm trying to work on something that has to do with my WoW characters.
