The Races of Gaericom
The Mages
Silver, Metallic skin. They have no facial feature other than Glowing blue eyes, They normally wear robes, color denotes their status. Without robes they have a metal spine with large spikes extending from the back (Think Echidna not Hedgehog) They have a metal ribcage like a human (without skin or muscle to conceal it) inside the ribs is a soft blue glow that appears to have no source, they are humanoid in shape, tall and slender, They are masters of the Arcane Magics. They live in a strict Magocracy and value Knowledge over anything else, their entire life is based on subtle political movements to gain power and see their enemy's fall. Communicate Telepathically
The Elves
They resemble humans in shape except more feral, they vary wildly in height and weight. They have long pointed ears and many of their eyes are amber with slitted pupils, they are the result of Feral Folk and Human breeding and their Feral appearance depends on the Feral Folk, some have patches of fur, others scales, none gain tails or wings all are human except with Feral skin, they are adept at Nature Magics and they live in houses that have been created out of the trees (through magic) without harming the tree. They have a ruling council lead by elders that rule everyone else. Speak both Common and Feral
Feral Folk
Normal animals that have been changed through a combination of wild Magic and evolution, they resemble their predecessors except that the have thumbs, the ability of speech, and stand upright. They don’t build houses, living as their predecessors did hunting when they needed to and going from place to place they may be solitary or travel in packs, as a whole they have no ruler or any laws, the are masters of Nature Magic, but use it sparingly preferring instead to hunt for their food themselves. hey speak Feral
Humans
Same as Earth Humans. Nomads in Kavatic Desert have no government and no permanent cities. Humans on Simiac Isles live in small villages across the four Isles they make there houses out of trees and stone (Medieval Humans) they speak Common. Humans can (with intense training become adept at any form of Magics)
Undead
They look like the race they were in life except rotting (Mages cannot become undead, instead rogue mages lead small groups of the undead) The Dark Magics of the Grave Marshes reanimated the remains of those buried in the mass graves along the borders. The undead no longer need their organs to function (they are held together by the Dark Magics) they require no food, though they delight in devouring the flesh of the living, Their bite spreads Undeath and plagued citizens are found roaming aimlessly in exile through the marshes. the Undead speak Death-speech and powerful Undead have limited use of the Dark Magics. If a mage were to take the blood of the undead into their metal bodies (How they do this is unknown) they they lose their powers over Arcane Magics and gain the use of the Dark Magics, these fallen mages are called Liches and they often wear black robes and their metallic bodies begin to rust slowly. The undead have no ruling body or cities they wander the marshes looking for prey and causing chaos. Sometimes a powerful undead might seek to leave their borders, but they are quickly dealt with. They are inherently evil though occasionally one might build up enough trust to join a tribe of Nomads in the Kavatic Desert.
Frostbourne Dwarves
Theses Dwarves appear as short, stout humanoids made entirely of solid stone. They eyes are pink crystals. The Frostbourne are immensely strong for their size and they have excavated large cities under the Frostbourne Isles where they spend their days mining and expanding their tunnels. They are ruled by a King and to a lesser extent a representative from one of the 3 dwarven clans.
Please Comment (suggestions, comments, criticisms) if I get enough positive feedback I'll do something with all this stuff, not sure exactly what, but I've got a few ideas)
Edit-Changed Goldshire to Seltor (thanks for the tip I didn't even notice)
