If we can get this project off the ground, the book is going to have weaved throughout it the work of our talented members. Firstly, we have to decide if we want some sort of theme, or just any decent, good pieces of work?
I vote towards the latter, since it means people can donate pre-existing work as opposed to having to find the time to write something new. Although, for legal reasons, even though we're not planning this to be distributed any wider than us, we should probably avoid fanfiction.

I vote for decent, good pieces of work over a theme.
And I'll clean up my Arena story for an entry, should it be acceptable.

We may need a length limit, though. If it was just an Anthology, we could have pieces as long as they like. But since this we're going to have other things in it and that we want a wide collection of writers to be included, yeah, we can't have too many long things.

I could probably try out doing some poetry. I mean, I've been meaning to do some.

I have a couple stories and poems I can put in this. Depending on how the theme of the book shapes up I can throw my sci-fi stuff from the arena in there and I always have extra poems lying around that need a home.

I think a theme is unnecessary. The idea is to showcase our favorite and best material, not force people outside their comfort zone into something that would come across awkward and strange.
So, yeah, unless that theme is "Favorite and Best" I'm against the whole idea.

So we all seem to be in agreement against having a theme.
Also, it's probably worthwhile to say that a 100% Anthology AWR Book serves as a suitable Plan B if we can't get the Yearbook to work.

If I ever finish any of my stories, I might have something to add.
...
Though there is that short story I wrote for Arena the one year I think. I think Pete knows the one I'm talking about because he liked it. The one about the Angel of Death.
