She didn't leave. She just disappeared and comes back occasionally. But yeah, I don't think we can rely on her coming back before July. Not many people actually leave AWR. And then I come back to peek in, in February, and it's all like... Surprise! Nope, didn't leave [successfully escape?] at all - nor been absorbed into the AWR hivemind (to the best of my knowledge? >.> <.< ) Just crazy rl stuff and in the process of moving from Alaska to Virginia (a nightmare months in the making). Life looks to be busy for the next few months on the homefront, as well as some substantive progress on personal and collaborative creative efforts, but I'd be glad to help where I can for the AWR book project - it looks to be pretty fun. Ohyay! Well, just try to check up on AWR as frequently as your schedule allows. RL always comes first. You shhhhhhould have a PM, too. It really depends on the kind of arts needed for the book. I'd love to lend some content to this project- it's amazing and something I'd treasure forever (the family tree thing made me laugh... Some of those names, man. Haven't seen them in years but they came right back to me). I do have three really big projects IRL I have to do. One is a promise- a big hand-drawn retirement poster for my mom and her two co-workers. One is a job- being paid to illustrate my Larp system's rulebook. And the third is a massive homework project. These all need to be done within the next two month so I actually have a lot to do art-wise. But, as I said, it depends on what you guys would want, and when said pictures would be needed ^^ *nod* Understood! Blood? How 'bout you?

I'm in. I'm not sure what my schedule will be in the next few months due to trying to find a job. Could be all the time in the world as I sit on my ass. I might get a job at one of the gas companies, which will mean no time at all. But I'll do my best to get something in, damnit!

Somebody needs to take charge now. I see you put yourself forwards Grats Agro! I've made one post in the last four or five days. And it was to do with clear dishwashers. If I'm in charge of this, it's not going to happen.

You've made about the same amount of posts as me then!
In all seriousness though. I'd be willing to lend a hand collating, etc. Just AFTER MARCH. Seriously. Have no time to breathe right now.

Totally down for buying a book/ writing contributions / donations for this. Also: according to that family tree, James and I are brothers? O.o

So, I'm guessing this is just another one of those "Wouldn't it be cool if..." ideas that no one is actually going to act on?

Oh, I'm still holding out hope for this. We got a good head start on it, but we did so months in advance. The anniversary is still three months off.

We probably need to start moving forward, though.

With the effort to keep discussion going and moving: An AWR Yearbook/Celebration/Memorabilia: - Cover Art (Bloodeye/Shinga) - Foreword (The Admins) - Family Tree/AWR History - Stories (Anthology Part) - Artwork - Most Likely To (Yearbook like) - Quotes and Funny Moments Add. Remove. Discuss. Let's narrow that done to: - Cover Art - Foreword from the Admins - Family Tree/AWR History/Memorable Moments - Stories, Poem & Artwork - Most Likely To - Yearbook Obviously, we can weave stories, poems and artwork in between the AWR History bit.

Someone should take control of the 'Most Likely To' bit. Make a big survey and then post a thread for it.
We need to get Shinga and Blood in here to discuss art.
As for the family tree, I'm going to need to consult the earliest members of our community. Sekot, Lilam, and you, really.

Set up a thread for Artwork, AWR History/Family Tree, collecting stories, most likely to, etc.
