Are you looking for something to write? Something challenging or just sheer insane and fun? Something to help make sure you hit 250 words a day for the AWR Project?
Or perhaps you have just woken up from a crazy dream? Involving vampire dinosaurs and zombies that eat ghost? Why don't you write down your ideas and let someone have a go at trying to a write a story from them?
Welcome, friends, to the Challenge Bin. Basically, the Challenge Bin is one of the new ventures from the AWR Project. It's about having fun and writing. If you don't have an idea for a story or you just want to have a laugh for a few days, but you still want to hit your 250 words per a day, then see if you can make one of the challenges here work. On the flip side, if you have an idea (serious, crazy, fun, whatever) but don't have the time to write it, why don't you post it up here and see what people from AWR can do. Enjoy.

Why not? 10 years from now, the internet is shut down by law, and you walk outside for the first time and meet your neighbor. Three brothers, separated at birth, walk into a place without knowing. A stranger, without knowing why, recognizes them as brothers. (Shameless plug) A story set in a mythological tone: awritersrecluse.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=s&action=display&thread=4267

My idea for the city topic was an urban fantasy story about a minotaur who turns a city into his personal labyrinth Have at it.

Couple I thought of today, I'm not gonna use 'em. Too Sci-Fi for me:
1. A film crew, in efforts to create an authentic feel in whatever they are filming, utilize time travel to film "on location." Things happen.
2. An off-planet mining operation is shut down due to budget concerns. All workers are taken off the planet and the operation is mothballed. The various AI robots and machines and such left behind must find a way to adapt to their now humanless surroundings in effort to obey their self-preservation programming. . . their "will to live."
