Tricksy trees and their tricksy roots. Yeah, well, the only reason the Team Zovo board has a sudden spike in post compared to ours (besides that you're creating a mini-AWR) is because it takes a long time to say anything in Old Entish and we never say anything unless it is worth taking a long time to say. Yeah, that or we're having meaningful conversations about relevant things and the threads have been covertly named because I knew you could see them... One of the two, for sure. |

There's no point crushing the blues in the second round, it's better to let them struggle. Let them hold on to some scrap of hope before crushing it at the last second.

Just on the myth round, I post once again what Zovo and I said when we first came up with it. Also, I feel like we're going to get a lot of questions about this round. So for my two matches: Just go for it. I don't want a word for word retelling but just in the different genre. Get creative with the myth or legend. Heck, you don't even have to keep the names if they don't work for the time setting you want to use. As long as I can see the underlying story of the myth, then it's fine. Zovo may have other views for the matches I'm not judging, though. So only Jor, Taed, Reffy, Dragon listen to me. Much the same as Agro, I'm not looking for exact retellings or even the same names. I would like to see essence of the tales, the themes and lessons, relatively intact if not immediately recognizable. Otherwise, have fun with it, I'm excited to see what you come up with. |
