Four good stories. Not much between all of them. But excitingly, room for improvement by everyone too. I want to see some 40+ stories popping up soon. Also, not to distract you from this round or anything, but Round 3 is going to be a humdinger. I can't tell you how excited I am to see what stories you write for that round. *cough* But first. Round 2. I know, I'm really pumped for round three. |

So...judging the other half of the stories? Who's going to be doing that? Zovo. Zovo replaced me as a judge. He and James are judging all of the stories now. I'm confused by how confused everyone is. Zovo and I did an exact swap. I'm doing all his writing, he's doing all my judging. Also, James, appreciate the review. Was super cramped for time on that story but I'm glad it came out half-decent anyway. Excited for Round 2 (and apparently 3, which is going to be... really interesting for some mysterious reason). |

Zovo and I did an exact swap. I'm doing all his writing, he's doing all my judging. Also, James, appreciate the review. Was super cramped for time on that story but I'm glad it came out half-decent anyway. Excited for Round 2 (and apparently 3, which is going to be... really interesting for some mysterious reason). I was sure it was Zovo, but Zovo hasn't really said much since he started judging...at least if he's started so far. I guess I was being a tad impatient. |

Well, all four stories are sitting in my laptop bag covered in red ink. I just have to translate that ink into reviews. Should have first round reviews up by Saturday. Nobody pays attention. |

I've got 500 words so far and each and every one of them is terrible. Not even just in combination with one another; I have permanently tainted the individual words with my garbage prose.
Go ahead, try using the word variegated in a sentence and see how it looks. It doesn't look good. Not anymore.

Got 1400 words written. I like what I have, but I'm not sure how to go about expanding it and it definitely feels like it needs expanded, despite being, well, frankly, kind of complete.
