Woop! Kaez has joined the battle ... but Zovo my nemesis is out  Was looking forward to our battle. Oh well. Also, I'm working on something but am struggling to make it work. Trying to get away from: this happens, then that happens, and he feels like this because ...That is the bane of my writing. It's funny that's such a problem for so many people. Because that is the opposite of my problem. My writing is so Sekot-esque now. All abstract, not nearly enough of "this happens, that happens." This tournament is my chance to try to establish a happy middle-ground. |

Rather happy with what I ended up with. Final check and read, then posting. Hopefully it's enough. It feels an awful lot like the start to a weird but interesting novella.

Lost about 600 words because of a tech screw up... AKA I am writing in the reply box, and clicked away accidentally.  But I had put it in a word counter earlier, so I, again, only lost 600 words at most. Be up soon. |

Taeds been suspiciously quiet. Nah, it's coming. My shift was supposed to end at 5:30 and it got stretched out to 8:30, so I got home later than I planned. I wrote some on my tablet on the subway, though. Should be able to just squeak it in. |

I'm going to put up the next set of prompts on time, but I'm going to give Kaez an extra day or so before I begin judging. Give me until Thursday afternoon. I go to work at 4PM my time (10AM your time). I'll have it written by then or not at all. |
