Also, interestingly, the Arena has had a different winner every year. Zovo, myself, Taed and now Reffy.

Our winner went uncontested in round one, and one of the three finalists dropped out.
That's kind of anti-climactic.
But, you know what?
I had a -ton- of fun with this. I rather wish we had another writing tournament coming up. One slightly less vulnerable to drop outs. Weekly challenge, maybe?

And we've got a whole team of writers who're used to cranking out a story in six days at the moment. Say, maybe, an eight-day week. |

Congrats Reffie! I am not surprised in the slightest that you won.
I was only in round one, Breitenfield. While I wish I had been a little more calm about writing, I found out after I lost who I faced and the fact it seemed we were pretty close in score, more or less, surprised me. Not going to reveal that who unless they'd like to comment on that.

Considering Pete said he was Entry One of Breitenfield... So apparently I almost beat Kaez if I'd of tightened up my writing a little. That's kind of...both disheartening and heartening at the same time? A missed opportunity, at least. |
