Right. I had an idea and decided to just run with it, so it might fall away by the wayside pretty quickly.
Anyway the Tome of the Recluse will be a series of the Short Stories (I'm not really imagining any more than maybe ten posts for each story) written by AWR in the manner of Blacklisted in Hungary. The exception is that there's only one writer at a time. So I'm going to write the Sunken Man. However when I'm done, that's me finished. I leave the Tome and someone else writes the next Short Story (chosen by a vote by AWR).
It doesn't have to be interconnected. Each story can be completely separate in a different world. My only point would be that each story should be something new for that individual writer (hence why I'm writing Western Steampunk). It should be used as an exercise of challenging yourself.
So, thoughts?

Yes, this seems good.
If I were to eventually write for this could I use my own fantasy setting, just writing in a genre that I'm not used to? Like say a romantic comedy between a demon and a rich girl.
I can see it now: The Pit Fiend and the Princess. The Pit Fiend would be played by Owen Wilson, of course.

Or should we allow the previous writer to pick?

As soon as an option hits five votes, I'll start writing the next piece. So you could potentially end up with three posts in a day. Or no posts for a week. It's just as much up to the readers as it is to the writer.

I do not understand. Can you speak slower and use smaller words?

I was thinking something very similar to this which I might still start up. My idea was just a continuous story (or collection of stories) that changes writers every 5,000 words or so. You know, do a post minimum 2,500 maximum 5,000 words; and then let someone else (whoever wants to) pick up where you left off. . . even if it's right in the middle of a sentence.
I'm sure I'll be involved in this things as well, though. May even do an "A World Removed" entry.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Pretty much taking the whole 'everyone writes a word' game and actually making it into a useful writing exercise.

Clear your thoughts of awesome for a moment and vote. Everyone. Or I will personally tell the New Years to not bother. I can do that because I get to see him first.
New Years is a guy by the way.

Need more votes since we're on a three-way split.
