Military Tactics:
Rekkazremyz -
The armies of Rekka always have two different versions of their troop lines. Divided into heavy and light. Though they have so many sections of this, the most feared section is their Heavy Cavalry.
The Heavy Cavalry of Rekka, also known as the Stompers, are orcs, ogres, and the smaller giants mounted ontop of large beasts. Creatures known by the humans as Nashorns, Norsu, and Nederlags.
Nashorns are large animals, with heavy bone-like skin. Nashorns have a muzzle with giant horns curving from their lower jaw, the top of their snout, and even off the sides of their head like a ram. As a mount, they have the second heaviest of the plate coating for extra protection. Ogres are generally mounted ontop of these.
Norsu are huge animals, the largest ones in the Heavy Cavalry. The large beasts have a slightly thick skin, though nowhere near as thick as the Nashorn. A long trunk extends in front of their mouth, spikes running down the sides of it, with several large tusks sprouting out of their mouth. Large, fan-like ears are on either side of their head. Norsu have the heaviest armor and are ridden by the giants.
Nederlags are the smallest of the Heavy Cavalry. Their hide is not as thick as either the Norsu or the Nashorns, but is instead supplemented with a large layer of fat between their skin and veins. They have a mouth full of large razor sharp tusks on hinged gums, to allow them to flex the teeth down when closing their mouth. Wear the lightest of the plating and are ridden by the orcs.
Ogres, use their own tactics when fighting as well. If, suddenly, their weapon gives out for whatever reason. They'll commonly pluck up anything nearby to use to fight with. This having lead to goblins being seen flying across the sky, sobbing and shrieking in fear as they are thrown at enemies. And many catapults and ballistae have been seen wrenched from the ground with their ammo, to be used as a heavy mobile weapon for two ogres.
Orcs will charge into the thick of things to begin with. Their wild battlecries sending fear into the heart of their opponents many a time. They are primal upon the battlefield, a force that can only be stopped with their death, or nothing left to kill.
Trolls are stealthier fighters, though not smart enough to realize it half the time. They are deployed to delve beneath the ground and dig their way to the flanks of their foes. Erupting from behind to rip apart enemies. Though they are being countered by the development of liquid flame.
Goblins, they are primarily the archers and assassins amongst the Rekka army. Those who are assassins are the bravest, and quietest of them all. Many a time have enemy troops found their lead officers corpses on the ground, with throats cut. Or food that smells of strong poison.
Giants are the shock troopers of the Rekka army, they have been seen bulling their way into enemy lines, moving to attack their seige weapons primarily. Though these large beastmen are not at all invincible, the giant corpses of the creatures having been seen on the ground, practically pincushions of arrows and ballistae bolts.

Most excellent *guitar sounds* In that case I'm gonna have to read up! Ogres or Lizardmen. Who is stronger? Physically, ogres are, but Lizardmen are extremely strong in a group. Ogres have more fun though. I mean, picking up a goblin to hurl it across the battlefield?!

Ignore the military tactics for right now. I want to get the big baddies list done with.
Unimaginably Powerful Beings of Destruction:
Lord Lich Coldheart - Formerly a powerful sorcerer of Manafar, said to be able to take on an army alone with all the spells he had accumulated and masters. This was changed as his bid for power, trying to assassinate the Lord Greigor, as well as the High Advisory Council and secure the throne as his own. This was put to a halt when a Lieutenant Adamaeus found out about the wizard's plan, ending it with an unexpected assault with his flail.
In death, the wizard renamed himself Coldheart, and has since grown far less attached to the world. Though his schemes still span the width and breadth of all the realms. He is rarely seen leaving his pocket dimension in which Frostwind Manor is situated. Though when he does, no good can come from it.
Lord Blackgrim - An extremely powerful being of the Dark, the land of sinners and Dark Pantheon. Though he is a daemon, he is considered on equal status with some of the weaker deities. The Lord Blackgrim had made one appearance upon Damethior, seeking to destroy Tasan with a demonic horde, he was stopped by a group of friends. Four of these stayed behind to destroy the Gates of Grakkamond, sacrificing themselves in the process.
While this was happening a half-orc named Jean and a dwarf woman named Nadira faced down Blackgrim and a band of elite guards, half-demons that had been bred with all manner of beastman to form hideous mutants. Jean managed to triumph, almost dying from his wounds, and became a Champion of Tasan, while Nadira became a general. Both have grown cold and bitter since the loss of their friends.
Vamash - A being who was old when Damethior was young. He is the ancient spawn of the darkest of the gods. He has had a grudge against humanity for the reason that the wealth of emotions they have is sickening to the dark beast. It is told that he is capable of powers over the mind and soul, preferring to drain ones body of its soul completely to nourish himself and make him grow stronger.
He was defeated by the first human armies, that time of the Clandom of Tasafar, which would later become the warring kingdoms, by an unknown warrior who could apparently manipulate the powers of Love and Hope. Managing to defeat the dark spawn, but not fully destroy him. It is said that Vamash shall rest until the descendants of the warrior, who bear the same powers as he, have awakened.
Dra'ragan - Another powerful daemon lord from the Dark. Though he nowhere near equals the strength of Blackgrim. He is supposedly a hideous beast who commands vast armies of demons and devils. He is apparently horrendous to look upon, though the last to have seen his appearance where the first elves who unwittingly brought him from the Dark.
They imprisoned him back in his realm where his rage at the elves grew, and so did his armies, waiting for someone to read the inscription upon the key that would allow him to return. Even though an extremely powerful wyrm guarded the sacred treasure.
Melkym var'Koreyth - A powerful elf sorcerer who was said to bring a curse upon his family. Though no one knows for sure if this is myth or legend, it was said that the mage summoned a powerful devil into his body to increase his magical might. But in doing so brought ruin to his family as all manner of horrendous beasts of the Dark joined with them.
It is beleived he is just a myth, seeing as his appearance dates back to the times of the paladin King Karmontine, records from them being discounted, seeing as it was said the last of the dragons had been defeated in this time. When they clearly still roam and rule the sky.
He is spoken of in nursery rhymes, to make sure young elf and human children behave themselves:
"Ware my child, for if you stray, The Exile Prince shall take you away. Locked in his walls of blood and stone, Forever to weep quiet and alone.
Ware my child, for if you lie, The Exile Prince shall make you die. With claws of frost, And flames of loss.
Ware my child, of Melkym Koerth. Ware my child of the Exile of Light..."
((The reason why Liserna is not grouped with them, is because she looks like an ant compared to these guys =p))

More in-depth coverage:
Lord Lich Coldheart - Formerly the mage known as Zahmed, he was very powerful in life. Having learned many spells to prevent his own death and prolong his life. Moving to the pointwhere he was nearing his two-hundredth year of life, though he didn't look it at all. Zahmed had been vain, and used his magic to allow himself to remain as he looked when he began these spells. Thirty-five summers.
He was an asset to Manafar that could not be ignored, the old mage rising in standing to the third highest position amongst the nobility, for his spells had ripped enemy armies of Tasan to shreds with simple snaps of his fingers. He had even begun to teach a pupil two-decades before he began to plot against the Throne and the Seat. Chavend learned many things, especially the same hunger for power his master had. The lessons were held in private at the request of Chavend's father, a wealthy lord who did not have a spot on the Seat.
Zahmed did not know of someone who had unwittingly discovered his plans. Lieutenant Adamaeus, a human as short and mean as any dwarf, had overheard Zahmed speaking with young Chavend, though did not know it at the time. The Lieutenant, instead of warning the King and the Council, found a spot to hide in and wait for the wizard to make his entrance.
Zahmed easily dispatched the guards who were the elite protectors of the King. Adamaeus leapt into action at this point, tackling Zahmed to botch the wizard's casting. A wide-eyed Zahmed stared in shock as the heavy flail Adamaeus carried smashed down onto his chest, crushing it open, though doing no damage to lung or heart.
The Lieutenant ended this by ripping the still beating heart from the wizard's chest and crushing it in his hand, as Zahmed swore vengeance upon Adamaeus. After that, Adamaeus was promoted to Lord General of His Majesty's Army. Not thinking the wizard would make good with his promise.
While the world through Zahmed dead, the wizard's countless spells of longevity seemed to have an alternative effect, allowing him to come back from death, but no longer one of the living. As he realized his lichdom, Zahmed also realized that he was very weak now that he had been reborn.
For, as a human wizard, his spells were unrivaled by even the great elves. But the liches have delved into deeper and darker paths than those elven spell hurlers. Making them extremely formidable and Zahmed's primary targets. Zahmed decided he needed a new name with his rebirth. Deciding on a name that emphasized the loss of his heart to the hands of Adamaeus. Coldheart.
Coldheart began a crusade, finding liches when they were too occupied with some task or another. Barraging them with spells to weaken them long enough for him to drain them of their magic, and destroy their phylactery.
Slowly, Coldheart gathered enough knowledge and power to where he became even stronger than the oldest of the liches, who was said to be Liserna. Coldheart, though, having become a being of undeath, has know real reason for power aspirations, being one of the strongest beings in the realm. But he did need a place for his own, and so the lich took it upon himself to steal a palatial manor from Lord Greigor, and place it in a pocket dimension with the servants still inside.
Here, in his Frostwind Manor, e creates all manor of undead and fiendish beast. He has skeletons and gargoyles who man his ramparts, and a standing guard of zombies with ghoul captains and wraith commanders. He has extended upon the manor as well, adding in holding pens where most of his creatures are kept and fed. As well as a laboratory where he could conduct the experiments he needed too.
Now, Coldheart keeps his forces in check, remaining studious and impartial to the world outside. Though if he ever did leave, it is unknown how his wrath would appear, or even if there is any anger in him anymore. Most worry that the lich, who all know has created vile things of undeath, might begin to sell them off as mercenaries. Which worries both Manafar and Tasan.

Lord Blackgrim - An extremely powerful being of the Dark, the land of sinners and Dark Pantheon. Though he is a daemon, he is considered on equal status with some of the weaker deities. Blackgrim fought hard to get to this level of power, slaughtering countless daemon lords, and daemonic beasts to garner their own power and the numerous magical artifacts he has.
Blackgrim ended his conquest by defeating two of the strongest beings of the Dark. One of them was a powerful daemon lord known as Lavitic, the powerful being wore a suit of magical armor which protected his already powerful magical resistances to the point of immunity, and hardened his skin to be greater than any metal, Darkforged or otherwise. Blackgrim's battle with the daemon almost cost him his life, until he managed to pierce the throat of Lavitic, spearing his blade through the daemon's mouth.
As Blackgrim removed his gore-covered blade from the daemon's body, he absorbed the essence of the infernal being, and took the magical armor for his own. After that, he went on to conquer the Devil Wyrm, M'Bracis. He and the monster faced one another in deadly battle for days, the wyrm's breath having barely any effect upon Blackgrim thanks to his armor. But by the same token, M'Bracis could not be harmed by Blackgrim's own sword.
The release of so much infernal energy drew to them the attention of other fiends, daemons, devils, and tortured souls. As well as the servants of the Dark Pantheon, and soon even their lords and ladies, who looked on in fascination and fear.
Blackgrim and the Devil Wyrm's battle came to an end, when the daemon lord let loose a powerful blast of his own infernal essence, blinding the audience who had gathered. Once it cleared, Blackgrim stood alone, completely warped from what he used to be. Appearing even more ghoulish. He also clutched in his hand a new weapon, the Djevler'tenner, daemon's teeth. A piece of M'Bracis' jaw attached to a large shard of the Devil Wyrm's bone.
The now extremely powerful daemon lord, having drained the essence of M'Bracis, called a summons upon all the beasts of the Dark. Calling them to his side for, his army. All but those who feared the wrath of the Dark Pantheon joined him. Swelling his ranks to where he had the largest army of the Dark.
Once formed, Blackgrim began to send agents up into the mortal realms. Having his fiendish heralds mate with some of the tribal men and beastmen to create an infernal breed of half-daemons that were stronger than the pureblood daemons he commands.
With these new and plentiful servants, he had them construct a powerful gate that would open into the Dark to allow his army to flow forth and cover the mortal realms. Asthe gate became functional, he sent his army forth to wreak havoc upon the human kingdom of Tasan.
As his forces assaulted the great city's walls, he foudn himself embattled with a half-orc runt, who was strong in his own right. He also noted a dwarf woman holding off the advances of his half-bloods. Leaving him alone in this fight.
Blackgrim would have won as well if the gate that kept his force pouring forth did not collapse, breaking connections with his realm and weakening him to the point where the half-orc was able to sever his head. Sending Blackgrim back to the Dark with the rest of his infernal horde. Though, in the destruction of the gate four of the half-orcs friends were lost, and their souls were dragged to the Dark to be tortured by Blackgrim for all eternity.
The daemon lord plots his return to the mortal realm, and the corruption of the half-orc who had defeated him.
