Going to start reading and judging in about half an hour. And at least I'm glad that every round got at least one entry in.

Also having spent a day on a nigh impossible to get to island over the weekend, I expect good things Drall and Evern.

To you judges, I really just wouldn't bother with mine. It's five hundred and half words of complete crap that I pulled together after an all nighter.

If you really want to, go nuts, I suppose.

This whole thing's fairly bittersweet. I mean, it's a shame such a good topic was wasted on a no-show, but I didn't have any time to work on the assignment, and Radin would kick the crap out of me if he'd been here.

At least I can live long enough to get my ass handed to me in the next round, I 'spose.

*shrugs*

Just reposting this from a few pages ago for any of the judges who didn't see this.

Writing it was a big challenge - totally out of my comfort zone, a piece I'd normally never do, but definitely a lot of fun.

Oh, and a few posts back - you're welcome, Kaez. XD Whenever I write or read something long-ish on the forums, I find that about 1500 words per post is a good length for my attention span - much less anyone else's.

Glad to hear it. I wasn't entirely happy with my entry and I completely agree with all of the judge's criticism, plus a little more of my own... Then again, I'm never happy with any of my stuff so...

Oh well.

But fantastic job Alice! Glad to see a piece from you and can't wait for more. Whatever the privy counsel decides, it was all still a fun bit of competition. ;D
