I hate tax season. I work for online tax company so got loads of customers phoning up and complaining. Shitty time of the year and it is only going to get more manic here.

Dystopia too? Futuristic? Dystopian doesn't have to be futuristic. Basically, it's about social and political stuff that makes the world horrible. Or in a Utopia case, perfect. The original utopian story was a discussion about certain aspects of society. So yeah, doesn't have to be a futuristic. You could have a dystopian fantasy world or a a clever twist of the idea dystopia. |

Dystopia is strictly the opposite of utopia. Neither have to be futuristic, they just commonly are.

I'd be a lot more confident writing against you. I know you would have fun with it and see me as a fair competitor and stuff. I know we'd have fun writing against each other. I'd be happy to lose to you.

It isn't saying you are bad, coz you are really good!! It is more confidence and fun. I doubt anything I write will be able to stand up against Taed, and I'm afraid of it looking like shit.

Feeling a bit weird about being in the semi-finals. I haven't been matched yet. I've only default won so far. Don't feel like I should be here - even though I met all the challenges and wrote good stories.
Still stuck on Dystopia. I might have an idea ... but how to make it a Epilogue? Hehe. I'm hoping inspiration will thwack me around the head today!

Reffy looked down as tears sprang to her eyes. She did not want the AWRian World to see her emotion. In the face of such opposition she felt like she could only give up, but this was a dying man's wishes. Drall had died trying to do what seemed to be the impossible. He had been a true hero, unlike no other, and now he was just a lifeless shell on the floor. It was a waste of a good man ... and all because of that ... that ...
Reffy couldn't finish the sentence.
Carefully she placed Drall's arms across his body and waved to the medics to take away his body. This War had been a messy one. Many good people had been lost. This could not go on any longer, she knew that some how the Infamous one known as Taed had to be stopped. Drall had said so himself. He had no care for living things.
Looking to the horizon Reffy puffed up her chest and picked up her pen-javelin. Then with might in her heart, confidence in her smile, and one small idea in her thoughts, she moved forwards. She did not dry the tears this time. The World would see her righteous determination and it would tremble.
