No, no you're not. You've got 9 days left to write 7k. That's less than a thousand a day. In the famous word of that guy that you can never quite remember the name of but he's in all the Adam Sandler's movies. YOU CAN DO IT. Rob Schneider. And yeah, he didn't mean -that- defeat. I saw him at the post office. I also saw the guy who plays (played) Desmond on Lost at that same post office.

Read Weebly - excellent going Kaez. Reading Brooks' tips/Q&A made me want to start a new book and I only got 1/4 of the way down that page!
Also - YAY! - Agro's word count moved!

A)) I read the full page earlier today. Extremely motivational and he's very right when he talks about lessons learned. I honestly think that with proper editing, I've got a chance to get this one published (assuming the rest of it goes well), but I'm very sure that my next one will have a -better- chance. This has been a learning experience if there ever was one, that's for sure. B)) YAY!

I watched the special features of Half Blood Prince last night, and they had a documentary on Rowling. That was quite inspiring.
"I decided here, I was going to write my book. What the worst could happen? It was rejected by every publisher in Britain? So what? At least I did something."

Yeah. I keep having ups and downs about Bel-Gonows.
Yes I will go to big publishing houses because this is an awesome story I want to share :: No I won't because its crap and I doubt a big publishing house would be interested.
That and I'm excited about my next novel because of what I learned making this one. I know the next will be 10x better - and possibly not set in Bel-Gonows.

From what I gather, agents are the way to go. Contracts are guaranteed to be better, finding a publisher is easier, etc.
They'll decide if a big publishers is the way to go.

^ That. Well, well worth the money, I hear.
Just be sure to cross-check addresses and phone numbers with interweb sources, apparently these things tend to be a tad outdated in that field.

700 words down. Probably about 3/4 of the way through the chapter now.

In fact, it's right here by my desk. Guess I could use it for its intended purpose, makes a lousy coaster anyway.
