Isn't that like the... *flips through handbook* Number seven rule of writing: to not base a character on oneself? Tsk tsk. Considering that most of the survival aspect comes from my bored schooltime musing... I say said character should share some of my virtues... and vices.

Well that's the very point of rule seven, isn't it? Your inevitable ego leads to you giving the character your virtues but you don't end up giving him your vices -- not to mention you don't put him into scenarios that you wouldn't like to be in, or that would show off your flaws. Like this one: But he has my vices too! So what if he lives, gets the girl who perhaps is based off a certain someone, and ultimately get one of the perhaps three happy endings out of millions of tragic ones. DOES IT REALLY MATTER? P.S. Dinner just arrived, be back on later. Mmmm Chinese.

I thought you stoned foreigners there? ... but I may be gone by the time you return. Nearly 3 here. Just uh... reply here about your writing failure, the Forbidden Zone, and admire your recent QotW.

They say you do it unintentionally anyway...so I might as well do it intentionally. I'm not changing the story because of who there based off of, so it doesn't really matter. It's not like he's the descendant of Merlin. *shifty eyes* *cough* He's not actually. Anyway they're not the lead characters. Those are faeries. Trying to break the stereotype of urban fantasy - main character always humans. Heck while at first glance they seem the most important humans, they aren't. Couple of others serve the plot in a far more important way.
